New Funding Opportunities for Secondary Analyses of Early Care and Education Data

The Office of Planning, Research, and Evaluation (OPRE) in the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) is soliciting applications for two new grant programs. The Secondary Analyses of Child Care and Early Education Data (HHS-2022-ACF-OPRE-YE-0057) grants aim to support researchers conducting secondary analyses of data of relevance to the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF). The Secondary Analyses of Head Start and Early Head Start Data (HHS-2022-ACF-OPRE-YR-0058) grants aim to support researchers conducting secondary analyses of data of relevance to Head Start and Early Head Start programs and policies.

Analyzing existing data sets may provide researchers an efficient and cost-effective method to answer critical research questions of relevance to the Administration for Children and Families. Findings from both grant programs are intended to inform policy, program administration, and future research.
