HOUSTON (FOX 26) – We all come into this world needing to sleep more than we need to be awake. By the age of 5, a child has spent as much time asleep as awake.
Experts say children 6 to 12 years old need an average of 10 hours of sleep every night. 13 to 15 year olds need an average of 9 and a half hours sleep.
