What is Supercomputing (SC)?

Supercomputing brings together the international supercomputing community. This gathering of everyone from researchers and educators, scientists and engineers, to developers and systems administrators is unequaled. The conference includes a four-day exhibit hall featuring booths from international companies such as IBM, NVIDIA, Intel, Cray, and Dell, as well as smaller companies and Universities from across the world. Concurrent with the exhibition, there is a technical program that features posters, presentations, papers, and vast opportunities for collaboration and exposure.

What does UH do at SC?

The University of Houston has a yearly presence at this outstanding conference. We bring a 20×40 foot booth to showcase our fantastic research to the world. Faculty with substantive research interests often underestimate the interest in their research at Supercomputing and how their research might benefit from their attendance and/or participation in the program.

What We Want…

We are looking for interested faculty/researchers at UH who make use of high performance computing in their research. We will help defray your cost to attend the event, and we can also provide travel support for up to four (4) students overall to assist in the booth.

We hope that you will consider joining us and showcasing your research and our great University to the world.
